Supporting early career French Immersion teachers’ professional growth and well-being
We would like to invite K-8 French Immersion teachers in their first five years in the classroom, teachers new to the district, or new to a level to participate in a collaborative learning series offered throughout the school year. The focus for the learning will be to create a supportive and responsive community of French Immersion teachers and to co-create professional learning opportunities that best meet the group’s needs. Participants will benefit from opportunities to co-plan and co-teach in peer classrooms to put learning into practice collaboratively. Sessions will be bilingual. Participation in both English and French will be welcomed as this will be an inclusive learning environment for all. Snacks will be provided!
